HISTORY AND EXPERIENCE
Cassaundra often gets asked how she got into breastfeeding support; after she had a completely empowering, positive and fulfilling experience with the birth of her son she had a traumatic experience with breastfeeding. She spent 12-weeks in pain and couldn’t find a solution on her own. This experience started her on a lactation education journey which includes a total of 75 months breastfeeding her three children, over 225 hours of breastfeeding management and counseling courses which lead to her certification as an International Breastfeeding Consultant (IBCLC) in July 2010 and recertification in 2015.
